Yeah, it has a cool, unique casting restriction, has the ability to dance around the commander tax, and it's a dope reference to Haakon, Stromgald Scourge, but the major criticism is always that it's "just a big dumb beater." And that's kinda true: when Hogaak is on the battlefield, it's an 8/8 trampling creature with no other relevant abilities
